2nd Conference on eServices in European Civil Registration
Civil Registration takes a key role in Government processes. Up to now, Civil Registration still remains a national topic, whereas the daily life of Business and Citizens is more and more taking place in the European Single Market. In such context, the second Conference on eServices in European Civil Registration intends to push forward the development of eGovernment solutions in the field of eServices in European Civil Registration.
Stakeholders in European Civil Registration, representatives of administration (local, national, EU) and cooperating economy are invited to participate in the Conference, so as to express their point of view about the future of European Civil Registration while getting the opportunity to hear their EU counterparts’ views in this field.
The Conference program will cover political, organisational, legal and technical aspects of eServices in European Civil Registration and related issues. It will break into five sessions, which will respectively focus on:

Identity Management in Civil Registration
As its successful first edition held in Vienna, this Conference will once again be organised by RISER, one of the first Trans-European eService in European Civil Registration. Supported by the European Commission, RISER has been achieved by an international consortium from Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Estonia and Ireland.
