IT is essential to manage transactions, information and knowledge necessary to initiate and sustain economic and social activities. These activities increasingly rely on globally cooperating entities to be successful. In many organizations, IT is fundamental to support, sustain and grow the business. While many organizations recognize the potential benefits that technology can yield, the successful ones also understand and manage the risks associated with implementing new technologies IT governance is the responsibility of executives and the board of directors, and consists of the leadership, organisational structures and processes that ensure that the enterprise's IT sustains and extends the organisation's strategies and objectives. (IT Governance Institute Cobit 4.0, USA 2005) IT governance: Specifying the decision rights and accountability framework to encourage desirable behavior in the use of IT. (Weill & Ross. IT-Governance. HBSP,2004) IT governance: The system by which the current and future use of IT is directed and controlled. It Involves evaluating and directing the use of IT to support the organization and monitoring this use to achieve plans (DIS 29382, ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7,2007) In this communitiy we\\\'ll try to answer six questions: 1.What decisions must be made to ensure effective management and use of IT? 2.Who should make these decisisions? 3.Who provide input to these decisions? 4.How will these decisions be made? 5.When will these decisions be made? 6.How will these decisons be monitorized and controlled? The community is open to all interested stakeholders whether from European administrations, from public and private organisations, from academia and research centres.
