The eID Factsheet was created as a tool for those interested to find out the European dimension of electronic Identity. Several aspects of eID usage are considered, with special focus on the concept of eID as an eGovernment enabler. The information included in each country’s factsheet has been retrieved from the eGovernment Factsheets on ePractice, which are regularly updated semi-annually by the ePractice Editorial Team with information provided or verified with from official governmental sources.
