The Objective

The eProcurement Forum at ePractice.eu is an initiative sponsored by the European Commission to help all the practitioners in public electronic procurement (“eProcurement”) in Europe to meet and share their experiences and knowledge, to ask and provide support. The community is open to practitioners from European administrations, from public and private organisations, from academia and research centres. Hopefully such variety of stakeholders will provide different contributions, approaches and points of view.

The eProcurement Forum is an open space to express opinions and exchange knowledge and where members are encouraged to provide contributions and participate in the discussions and events. It is not an official Commission site.

The community is mainly focused on technical and organisational aspects of eProcurement.

Will you help us?

We have the ambitious objective to make the eProcurement Forum the main reference point in Europe for exchanging ideas and finding knowledge on eProcurement and related topics. We can reach it with your help! How?
Once you have joined the community, you can contribute in several ways. For example, you can:

• Invite friends, colleagues and any other practitioner you are in contact with to visit our community and become a member.
• Participate in discussions in the eProcurement blog .
• Describe your own experience in developing eProcurement systems by submitting cases.
• Provide documents to be included in the Library section through the “Propose a library item” option.
• Propose us new events.
• Attend events where you can meet other members.
• Cooperate with the organisation and be a speaker at the workshops. These events will be organised by the Forum on the base of the needs/proposals expressed by the eProcurement Forum.
• Keep updated your personal profile and your cases.

New initiatives and services for supporting the community are continuously launched and new collaboration possibilities for the members are made available. To be continuously updated, each member will receive once a month a community newsletter.
