Objective<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Supported by the Commission European eParticipation study, this community is open for all practitioners, policy-makers, politicians, administrators, researchers and consultants concerned with how ICT can be used effectively to promote democracy and participation across <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Europe. Non-European participants are also warmly invited.

The community is an open platform for meeting and sharing experiences and knowledge, as well as for asking and providing support. It encompasses blog discussions, news items, good practices, promoting events and sharing documents and source material. It also links to and helps coordinate the various European Commission supported studies and projects directly relevant to eParticipation and eDemocracy.

We offer:

1.       The opportunity for your experiences and concerns to be widely shared and your events and practices showcased.

2.       An opportunity to engage with peers and experts with extensive experience, both online or in one of our workshops.

3.       Access to the latest and most important cases, studies and research, as well as high level reports from the various European Commission supported studies and projects.
