Case Abstract

KleurRijker and ReadSpeaker provide an online platform that is part of a blended learning method, aimed at integrating immigrants and ethnic minorities. It has been used by more than 30 000 students in the Netherlands since 2007. Its objective is to prepare the student for the integration exam as well to provide language skills and overall empowerment of the students. The platform provides a unique combination of learning content and new techniques, resulting in high scores in the integration exams and actual successful integration in the Netherlands.

It is a hosted service that the participants can access online. The learning method is supported by books/binders with studying material and courses.
