In the framework of the Enterprise 2020 collaborative project “the business contribution to active ageing”, the co-leaders GDF Suez and Intel as well as AGE Platform Europe organize a workshop on ‘Adapted HR management; Innovative inclusive products and services’ on July 5 (9am – 4pm GMT), together with Accenture and the European Commission. It will aim at developing practical solutions with regards to (a) work models (adapted working environments and conditions, alternative career development paths, transfer of skills and competencies); (b) inclusive product and service development based on a good understanding of the silver market. Participants from businesses (e.g. BNP Paribas Fortis, O2, Edenred, GDF Suez, Intel, IBM, Rio Tinto), consultancies (e.g. Accenture, ALVIC, Hazel heartwood), academics (e.g. Louvain university students) public authorities and governmental bodies (e.g. City of London, European Commission, ESF), CSR Europe NPOs (e.g. Scottish Business in the Community) as well as active ager representatives (AGE Platform Europe) will work together to develop joint methodologies and tools, but also recommendations towards the European Commission.
