The time is almost here for the upcoming ePractice Effective & Efficient eGovernment Services event on 15 September providing a great opportunity to discuss various issues relating to the eGovernment domain.
Some of the topics of interest that will be discussed are:
• Examples where stronger involvement of local administrations has been displayed.
• eGovernment as a tool to improve the provision of public services.
• Staff exchanges between public administrations to disseminate good practices across EU.
• The necessity of measurement of efficiency in eGovernment.
• How can efficiency be measured in public administrations?
• Turning the evaluation of benchmarking results to yield meaningful conclusions.
• Implementation of the 'once-only' registration principle.
• Indicators and evaluation procedures for measuring the reduction of the carbon footprint.
The agenda will be available online soon and you may register your participation by following the link above. Look forward to seeing you there!

Effective & Efficient eGovernment workshop report
Dear Marc,
thank you for your question regarding the 'Effective & Efficient eGovernment services' event to take place in Brussels on 15 September 2011.
On the day of the event a folder is given out to all participants containing the agenda and speaker presentations, however we do not print an event programme ahead of time as such.
Following the event we always produce a workshop report which is widely available via ePractice and emailed directly to participants.
Join us on the day by registering under the event link!
