Workshop on Efficient & Effective eGovernment, March 17: Call for proposals!

Dear epractice members,

The Call for proposals is open for the workshop on Efficient and Effective eGovernment (http://www.epractice.eu/en/workshops/efficiency) to be held in Brussels, March 17, 2010. In particular, the workshop will take stock of eGovernment good practices related to Measurement – how Member States, Regions and public administrations in general measure their performance (back office) and/or the impact and user satisfaction of the eGovernment services.

Areas of interest include, but not limited to:

  • Case studies: Reports on tangible results of efficiency gains in eGovernment.
  • Towards 2015: Efficiency and effectiveness to reduce the administrative burden; improve organisational processes; promote a sustainable low-carbon economy (Ref. Ministerial Declaration on eGovernment of 18 Nov 2009, Malmö, Sweden).
  • Benchmarking efficiency improvement: methods to objectively measure the efficiency gains of eGovernment policies and implementations.
  • Potential of a single structure for the delivery of social assistance services (child support, unemployment, disability benefit, pensions).
  • Peer-to-peer benchlearning--learning from each other's activities and effort.

Looking forward to receiving abstracts that would add value to this workshop; engage our audience and draw on important conclusions and share with ePractice.eu!

Thank you!

Vassilia
