In continuity of the former EGOV conferences, in 2010, the IFIP WG 8.5 group will organise its working conference on electronic government. For the first time, the conference will be organised outside the former conference cluster DEXA. This demand has been rised since 2005 by a number of members of the EGOV community. After five years, we are very pleased to inform you that this demand could be realised for 2010.
We can also announce that in 2011, the IFIP e-government conference, together with the eParticipation conference, are planned to take place in Delft (NL). Further tentative locations are Kristiansand (Norway), Koblenz (Germany), a Greek Island and Dublin (Ireland). The order of these locations is not yet settled.
Please find the following information for EGOV 2010:
In 2010, the IFIP e-government conference will be colocated with ePart, the new International Conference on eParticipation, which is dedicated to topics on eParticipation and eDemocracy. ePart will be held in parallel tracks to the IFIP e-government conference .
A PhD Colloquium will be held as well.
